I have just installed x2go (server on my xubuntu 18.04 desktop, client
on my xubuntu 18.04 laptop).

I am using it to run Digikam as a 'Single Application'. I must say it
was incredibly easy to set up and get working, congratulations to the
developers.

The text in Digikam is a bit too large, i tried increasing the DPI in
the session settings but that seemed to have no effect (or maybe it
made the text even bigger!). So, is there a way to make the text
smaller?

It's OK, *reducing* the DPI makes the text smaller, the opposite of
what it says in the wiki. Maybe it's different when running a whole
desktop.

That really should have worked -- at least, changing the DPI works well
for me. By how much did you change the DPI? Maybe you should try a
larger increment and see if it makes any difference.

As I added later it turned out that I needed to *reduce* the DPI to
make the text smaller. I think this may well be because I was using
'Single Application' rather than displaying the whole desktop. It
does seem it would be worth mentioning in the documentation.
